Himalayan Retreats

INTRODUCTION

A study course/retreat is meant to introduce people to the spiritual wealth of our land and help them own up their true self as eternal and as the source of happiness.

As one participates in the program, one also learns to enjoy the serene atmosphere around. Away from one’s daily chores and responsibilities, the day is utilized for silence and reflections on the spiritual insights that one learns during the retreat.

The venue for such courses/retreats may be in any country at a spiritual holistic center or in India at the Himalayan retreat center of Purna Vidya. They are offered by the monks of the Purna Vidya trust and their disciples.

These residential programs offer in depth learning of the scriptures, meditations, yoga, and spiritual reflections for adults, youth and families.

These programs are meant for those who seek an in depth study of the scriptures with a teacher. These are intense sessions ranging from 1 week to 4 weeks and include learning, application of tools and creation of support groups for sustained work.
