Swamini Pramananda Saraswati is a spiritual guide and the author of the "Purna Vidya" program. Fondly known as Ammaji, she is a revered teacher of Vedanta and is a Sanskrit scholar, offering regular spiritual retreat programs, since over thirty years. She has conducted hundreds of seminars and teachers’ training programs for educational institutions creating cultural awareness in global communities. She has empowered thousands of teachers for sharing the "Purna Vidya" program with children, youth and adults.
Ammaji received sannyasa diksha, initiation into monkhood at an early age after undergoing a 3 year residential study of Vedanta and Sanskrit in 1979 with her guru, Swami Dayananda Saraswati. In her interests for social work, she conceptualized and ran programs for women empowerment, as well as projects in healthcare and education for the poor tribal people of the hilly areas in Tamil Nadu and Uttaranchal.
Ammaji has represented the Hindu leadership at a Hindu-Buddhist Dialogue & Yogi-Sufi Dialogue in Cambodia, Kathmandu, Japan & India and as well as in the U.N. Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen, Denmark. In her retreat centers in Uttarkashi and Tiruvannamalai, Ammaji continues to offer her spiritual teachings and silently supports many social, educational and cultural causes for the surrounding villages.
Sri Dhira Chaitanya is an author of the Purna Vidya program and a book on Bereavement and final Samskara in hindu tradition. He has undergone Vedanta and Sanskrit studies with Swami Dayananda Saraswati since his young age. He has been teaching Vedanta and Sanskrit for over 30 years. A physician by profession, he practiced as a child psychiatrist in New York, USA.
His background as a child psychiatrist and a Vedanta teacher gives him the unique capacity to address the role of psychological growth in spiritual pursuit with insight and authority. He currently conducts seminars and retreats on spirituality, meditation and Vedanta in USA, India and other countries.
Swami Siddhabodhananda is a teacher of Vedanta and an erudite scholar of the classical Sanskrit language for over 30 years. Swamiji was a qualified electronic engineer from Stanford University and worked in the USA for a decade prior to taking initiation as monk from his teacher, Swami Dayananda.
Swami Siddhabodhananda was the chief acharya of the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Coimbatore, a center of learning for Vedanta and Sanskrit, for over 15 years, prior to which he held a similar position in Pennsylavania for 5 years. In his responsibility as a spiritual guide and the chief administrator, he trained over 150 monks in three year residential courses in Vedanta and Sanskrit. These disciples today are teaching in various centers in India and around the world. Swamiji lives in Uttarkashi and in Tiruvannamalai at his retreat centers, supporting the propagation work and creating new teaching modules for the spiritual awakening.
Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati is the visionary behind the Purna Vidya Study program. He is regarded as an outstanding scholar of Sanskrit and a great teacher of Vedanta in the successive line of traditional teachers. He has taught residential courses in India since 1972 and has lectured extensively in the West since 1975. Pujya Swamiji serves as a Executive Administrator, Director and Trustee of several religious, educational and cultural organizations
In addition to the above mentioned guiding forces of Purna Vidya work, the headquarter office constitutes a core team, who support the administrative functions of the trust.
