Who are the Teachers?

Swamini Pramananda — Purna Vidya Books Teacher for the Course

Swamini Pramananda, affectionately known as Ammaji, is a revered Vedānta teacher, Sanskrit scholar, and the spiritual guide and visionary founder of Purna Vidya, based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. For over four decades, she has been sharing the timeless wisdom of Oneness and Harmony with seekers across the globe, inspiring lives rooted in awareness, inner freedom, and universal values.

A distinguished disciple of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Ammaji spent more than a decade teaching residential Vedānta and Sanskrit in the gurukulams, grounding her teachings in both profound scriptural mastery and direct experiential understanding. Her clarity, compassion, and eloquence have established her as one of the most respected voices in the Vedic tradition today.

As part of her vision to make India’s spiritual heritage accessible to all ages, Ammaji conceived the Purna Vidya 24-book series—an innovative, engaging, play-way curriculum that presents the universal vision of Vedānta through stories and values drawn from the Ramayana, the Mahabharata, and allied teachings. Through her teachings and writings, Ammaji continues to illuminate the path of harmony, wisdom, and Oneness for people from all walks of life.

Sri Arulji — Vedic Chanting & Ritual Training

Sri Arulji, a resident Acharya of Purna Vidya, is known for imparting spiritual wisdom in Tamil. His expertise in classical Tamil texts such as Tirumantiram, Tiruvācagam, Tēvāram, and Tirumurai enables students to connect deeply with their timeless teachings.

He conducts residential Vedānta programs and short-term courses and also trains teachers and parents in culture-based value education as part of Purna Vidya’s Vedic Heritage Teaching Program. Additionally, he guides the student community through various outreach initiatives of Purna Vidya.
