One-Month Vedānta Immersion

Purna Vidya Foundation invites seekers to a one-month Residential Vedānta Course offering sustained study and contemplation of the timeless vision of Advaita Vedānta. In the Gurukula tradition, learning extends beyond the classroom. Study, prayer, satsang, seva, reflection, and the simple rhythm of ashram life come together to create an environment in which the teachings can be understood deeply and brought into daily life.
Why This Course?
This course provides an opportunity to study Vedānta in a traditional and supportive setting, with experienced teachers and time for reflection and inquiry.
Through scripture study, Sanskrit, chanting, prayer, satsang, discussion, and personal reflection, participants explore the vision of Vedānta and its relevance to everyday life.

Note: Participants may choose between Basic and Intermediate Sanskrit, depending on proficiency.
Who Can Join?
No prior knowledge of Vedānta is required. The course is conducted in English and is suitable for those who can read and understand English. Sanskrit classes are offered at different levels.

Swamini Pramananda — Vedānta Teacher for the Course
Affectionately known as Ammaji, Swamini Pramananda is the spiritual guide and founder of Purna Vidya. A Vedānta teacher and Sanskrit scholar, she has taught Vedānta and Sanskrit for over four decades.
She spent more than a decade teaching residential Vedānta and Sanskrit courses in the Gurukulams of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati and continues to guide students in understanding and living the vision of Vedānta

Swami Siddhabodhananda — Spiritual Guide and Sanskrit Teacher
Swami Siddhabodhananda has over four decades of experience in teaching Vedānta and Sanskrit. A student and disciple of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, he studied Vedānta in a three-year Gurukulam-style course in Northern California from 1979 to 1982 and subsequently taught in Pujya Swamiji’s Gurukulams.

Swami Saccinmayananda Saraswati
Swami Saccinmayananda Saraswati is a direct disciple of Pujya Sri Swami Dayananda Saraswati. He undertook long-term residential study of Vedānta and Sanskrit and has been teaching Vedānta and Sanskrit for over a decade in schools, community centres, temples, and other settings.
Live amidst nature, follow the rhythm of the ashram, engage in seva (selfless service), and experience the richness of Bharatiya culture.
Set in the serene rhythm of gurukula culture, each day is designed to nourish the body, mind, and spirit. The schedule offers a balanced blend of study, practice, reflection, and quietude within a natural, supportive environment.
No prior knowledge of Vedānta is required. Classes are conducted in English and are suitable for anyone who can read and understand the language. All levels are welcome for Yoga and Sanskrit classes.
The contribution covers food and two-sharing accommodation.
All teachings are offered free of cost, in keeping with the Gurukula tradition. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
Voluntary donations are welcome to support the operational needs of the ashram. Participants may also offer Guru Dakṣiṇā to the teachers at the end of the course as an expression of gratitude.
