Tattvabodha is an introductory text on Vedanta philosophy, written by Adi Shankara, that means “Knowledge of the Truth”. It systematically explains the fundamental principles of Vedanta, the nature of reality, the self, and the path to liberation (moksha). The text is presented as a dialogue between a teacher and a student, defining key terms and concepts like the three states of consciousness, the different bodies, and the necessary qualities for a student to seek knowledge.
