Our ( my wife’s and my) life and career paths took us across the seas to Dubai!! It was truly an enriching experience and we were completely overwhelmed with the quality of life and the general cleanliness of the place!! But soon enough, all this became a part of life, and there started a yearning for something more, something different, something more assuaging and satisfying…..but what, neither knew!!!
Chance put us in contact with a person who was teaching children Vedic heritage and culture, and that is how we came in contact with Purna Vidya’s books. We were spellbound by reading these books, and thus got involved with imbibing these lessons and teaching children. And there was more longing and we took the path of doing Seva.
This opportunity too came, when we got a chance to help a school which Purna Vidya was assisting, and we were able to provide the poor and needy students with books and stationery!!! And finally the chance to talk to Ammaji herself - and that too when I was offshore. It was a privilege to speak to her, and learn about her vision for Purna Vidya and the plan to spread the message of Sanatana dharma across to every Hindu home initially and eventually globally.
It was a matter of time before we eventually connected, and it was a home-coming in every sense. The love and affection showered by Ammaji and Swamiji to us and the many Sevaks who turned up for seva, the several visits to the ashrams, the many satsangs which we attended of Ammaji and Swamiji…..we could go on and on…
Purna Vidya, for me is indeed, purnatvam, completeness….but there is still a long way to go, more to learn from Ammaji and Swamiji and so much to do….We pray to the Almighty to give us the strength and the capacity to give more and serve more for this cause!!!
